This Saxophone Ensemble Course will teach you the skills necessary to play in a large musical setting. Improve your sight-reading, and intonation, refine your sense of timing and enhance your overall musicality.
Relax with fellow musicians after work and enjoy weekly rehearsals in a non-judgmental environment. We are a great bunch and rehearsals are always a fun evening.
Rehearsals will be held every week for 12 weeks in Notting Hill and a final public performance at our LSS concert.
Level Required
- Intermediate players
- Upper beginners are welcome upon assessment (contact us before signing up).
- No beginners
Playing Requirements
- 2-octave chromatic scale
- Ability to read music at a grade 4-5 standard
Parts
You will be sent your parts 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the course.
Which saxophone?
We welcome soprano, alto and tenor players.
No baritone players as we already have a baritone player.
