From producing a great note to playing your favourite tunes, by the end of the course you will have the perfect overview of the basics of saxophone playing.
We run separate sessions for adults and kids during term times.

What will I learn?
Saxophone set up – Learn all you need to know about the correct and safe way to put the saxophone together.
How to make a good sound – Discover how to make a good sound by having a good mouth position.
Fingering – Learn to play the notes on the saxophone, their names and how to write them on the musical staff.
Rhythm – Learn how to stay in tempo and recognise the difference between tempo and rhythm.
Reading – Learn how to read musical notation and the tricks to recognise the notes on the staff.
Group performance – Play your favourite song and play it with your group at the end of the course.
