London Saxophone School’s holiday courses run during the summer and half terms.
We offer 5-day camps for kids and weekend workshops for adults.
Summer camps for kids (grades 5+)
This program is designed to enhance the technical skills on the saxophone while strengthening the rhythmical, aural and ensemble skills.
Your child will sharpen her/his theory knowledge, ensemble playing and get playing with a friendly bunch of fellow saxophone players.
Weekend workshops for adults
If you need that extra kick in further developing your saxophone skills, then this full two-day workshop is ideal for you.
This weekend crash course is designed for kids grade 5+.
Your child will tackle all the fundamentals of saxophone playing with particular attention to embouchure, sound, finger coordination, sight-reading, rhythm, improvisation and injury prevention.
The camp consists of technique labs, reading labs, saxophone ensemble rehearsals, rhythm labs with a drummer and an informal performance for peers at the end of the course.

This weekend course is designed for those who want to deepen their musical and saxophone knowledge in a short period.
You will strengthen all the fundamentals of saxophone playing with particular attention to embouchure, sound, finger movement, range, rhythm, reading, basics of improvisation, group playing, performing and respiratory system anatomy.
The course consists of technique labs, reading labs, group playing rehearsals, rhythm labs with a drummer and an informal performance for peers at the end of the course.

This workshop is aimed to boost your level in just a weekend.
We have divided the course into various labs targeting the different layers of learning music – technique, sound, rhythm, group playing.
By the end, you will have a clearer understanding of how to establish your practice routine in a methodical way by analysing the music that you are playing.
