Requirements: Grade 1-5
Duration: 3 days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Time: 9.30am – 4pm
Venue: Clementi House – Notting Hill
This 3 day camp is an exciting and dynamic experience for any child with a passion for saxophone and music.
Suitable for children of a variety of levels and ages, we aim to pass on the love for music while establishing the basis for understanding a disciplined and consistent practice for future musical development.
All this done in a fun, engaging and non-judgmental atmosphere.
In these camps we work on Disney and movie arranged for saxophone ensemble. Songs to include Bare Necessities, Lion King, Mission Impossible, James Bond, Harry Potter, Star Wars and more.
This summer camp is structured as a rehearsal of the group where the lead teacher acts as a conductor, demonstrating parts where necessary, trying to get the most out of every player in order to get a great sounding piece at the end.
All is about learning things well in a very short period of time – as in preparing for music college and music profession should any of the kids eventually show signs of interest in a music career.
We like our groups to be moderately small no more than 10 or so, so to be able to achieve a high standard of playing, teaching and focus from the students.
All our teachers are DBS checked.
